Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 EF Review
Hot on the heels of the 50mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 35mm f/2.8, 24mm f/2.8 and 14mm f/2.8 AF lenses for full frame Sony FE mount and the AF 14mm f/2.8 EF in Canon mount, we have a new Canon mount full frame lens in the Samyang 85mm f/1.4 EF. This must be the most sought-after traditional specification for a portrait lens, giving a very natural looking perspective from a comfortable working distance, but also a fine lens for landscape, architectural details, close-range sports and of course low light shooting. Let's see how well the new Samyang performs, using the Canon EOS 5DS R 50mp body.
