Tokina AT-X 16.5 135mm DX
Press Release:
Kenro has announced the UK release of the Tokina AT-X 16.5 135mm DX, a new compact super wide zoom lens, based on the award-winning AT-X 124 PRO DX (12-24mm f/4) model.
The lens begins at 16.5mm making it ideally suited for scenic and travel photography in addition to being a great standard lens for most general photographic situations, offering an equivalent angle of view of 25-200mm in full format 35mm terms.
The AT-X 16.5-135 DX's optical design benefits from three aspherical elements, one all glass precision-moulded element and 2 compound elements yielding high contrast. Additionally two Super-low Dispersion (SD) glass elements correct chromatic aberration. It also features a newly designed high-precision mechanical zoom cam system which minimizes play and eliminates zoom creep.
This new addition to the Tokina range has a slightly shorter zoom range to maintain optical quality at wide apertures. The optical system of the lens features a new multi-coating system that helps to reduce reflections that can cause flare and ghosting.
