A very good lens. Well designed and built, with superb optics. My negs and slides are very sharp and the colors are excellent. I like it so much, that I procured a second one.

I own this lens, yes it WAS good but now I have a Sigma 20-40 F:2.8 and it is a much better performer than the Tamron (I will sell it as soon as possible)

Hello,
I bought this lens a few yeasr ago, because I had not enouph money for a 2,8/20-35mm Nikkor. I for myself think that this lens is one of the best I ever used. It is sharp till every part of the picture. I love it. I realized pictures with it with an enormes charm. I used it for wedding photography a.s.o.
If you want to see some of my pictures made by this lens, come here and write to me.
These days I am looking for selling it because I now use digital SLRs and I ned other wideangle Zoom lenses.
